1) Mix lime green with shades of green.
Yes, you can mix lime green with different shades of green—including standard green and forest green. Combining shades of green with lime green adds an unexpected twist to your look. In this case, I added lime green heels to a forest green sparkly dress. When you add lime green to darker shades of green you make a fun contrast. This is also one way in which you can make forest green “work” for Summer—by adding a summery pop of lime green to it.
2) Mix lime green with bright colors. color blocking.
Color blocking: when you mix 2 to 3 bold and contradictory colors together in one look. Mix lime green with other bright colors such as bright pink, blue or orange for an even stronger Summer feel. Make sure that the colors are sans print since you are already making a statement with 2-3 bold colors.
3) Mix lime green with pastel colors.
Mix a splash of the creative and fun lime green with romantic and feminine pastel colors. You can add lime green heels to a light blue dress, or a light purple dress. Or a lime green purse to a light pink dress. It’s an unusual but fashion-forward combination.
4) Mix lime green with classic white or black.
Make this a dressy and more elegant look by pairing a white silk mini dress with neon heels, or a long black dress with a neon purse accessory.
5) Mix lime green with shades of copper.
Mix lime green with copper tones! Make sure the fabric of the copper tone is a light Spring or Summer fabric such as satin, silk or cotton, rather than a Winter fabric such as wool or leather. This will make sure that your look looks and feels like a Spring and Summer look rather than mixing Spring and Summer (lime green) with Winter (wool or leather).

It was a beautiful day at El Matador Beach, Malibu. I love the feeling of the beginning of Summer when the sun starts to get a little bit warmer and stays out a little bit longer. I love the feeling of fresh ocean air and natural ocean hair.
Summer clothing is my favorite type of clothing, just because it feels so carefree and truly reflects the southern California aesthetic. Your summer beach outfit can feel like resort wear with a few simple tweaks.

I love large brim hats for long days spent at the beach. Large brim hats are perfect to pair with your favorite sunglasses and make you feel like Brigette Bardot. They are the ultimate sun protection since no umbrella is needed (literally). You can simply hide under the hat and fall asleep, listening to the ocean waves. Or let it fold naturally in half in the front while you’re walking for a relaxed look, or for when you need to drink a martini.
A medium sized straw hat is also perfect for a Malibu beach day outfit. A medium sized hat is like your everyday floppy hat and is still perfect to get some shade from the sun.

I love hand woven bags for the beach. Hand woven bags are something special, because they usually only come out during vacation or summer time. My favorites are made of real straw and are hand woven in secluded beachy places such as Colombia or the little towns in Mexico. When you wear a hand woven beach bag it reminds you of the first breath of fresh air when you land at your destination.

The new Gucci Rubber Slide sandals in Wild Rose are definitely one of my favorites. I love how easy they are to wear, and how they can be paired with so many outfits—Spring or Summer!
The Emilee Angelic Skort is a versatile skirt, it can be worn with sandals, over the knee boots or heels.

The Simple Spring Makeup Look
The Cle de Peau powder blush in 102 is so pretty, the pigment has a great payoff and does not have a sheen or sparkle. This makes the pigment a great everyday addition.
The Creamy, sheer lip + cheek color in Berry by Milk Makeup is another one of my go-to lip colors. It appears that the color is purple, but the way that the lip color wears, it is like a deep berry. Since the formula of this multiple stick is creamy and sheer and hydrating, the color is perfect for day (and even night). I love the hydrating ingredients in this tint: mango butter, peach nectar and avocado oil.
The Satin Matte Foundation by Alima Pure Cosmetics is my favorite mineral makeup foundation year round. You are guarenteed a perfect shade match since you can order multiple mini samples on their website for about $1.50 each.
I also tried the new Lash it out Loud mascara by Elf Cosmetics. I like how this formula isn’t too heavy and simply enhances your lashes.
The Nars bronzer in Laguna is my go-to bronzer for years. I love how this pigment is “flat” (no sparkle or sheen), so it’s perfect for everyday looks.
This white top that I’m wearing by BCBG is from a few years ago (3 years) so I could not link the exact white crop by BCBG. However another white crop by BCBG with the same material makeup (86% rayon, 13% nylon, and 1% spandex) is linked below. I love this material since it has held up for a few years and still looks like new. I also like the way it fits, a tiny form fitting, but casual for day. Also…you could wear this at night. :)

I came up with a few different ways to tie and wear this scarf: 2 different types of tops, 2 different headbands and 2 different styles of skirts. I ordered this particular scarf on Amazon and it’s a great versatile piece to add to your Summer essentials.
Black is a great color scarf to start with because this neutral color can pair with any color. The simple style of this scarf also provides enough versatility to pair with different styles. I love the tassles, I think they give a unique touch.

For beach and resort wear I normally gravitate towards blues, whites, black gold detailing, creams and tans, with the occasional bright red. Yellow is not my usual go-to Summer color (or any season, really). But, I felt like I wanted to do something different, to take a style risk….and I am SO happy I did.
This vibrant yellow bikini (in these pictures) by Andrea Iyamah caught my eye. At first I was not sure if the bright colors were “too much.” After wearing this bright yellow bikini for a day in Malibu, I feel yellow is the perfect color to reflect the sun and brighten a beach day. A bright shade of yellow can complement most skin tones nicely, as a bright color always looks great with darker skin tones, and it looked great against my very light tone. Now, what other color for the beach is there besides yellow?

When Fall and Winter arrive, pairing your favorite wide brim beach hat with your leather jacket just doesn’t look right.
It was surprisingly hard to find cute bucket hats and casual hats with UPF 50+ fabric! However, I found 6 hats off Amazon that are casual and cute and WILL work with Winter and Fall outfits! (See them all below!)
—>What is UPF+ fabric and why is it importanT for Additional sun protection?
UPF is like adding sunscreen SPF to your clothing.
UPF measures the amount of UV rays that penetrate fabric and reach your skin. UPF measures both UVB and UVA rays, while SPF measures only UVB.
What you need to know: A fabric must have a UPF of 30 to qualify for The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation. A UPF of 30 to 49 offers very good protection, while UPF 50+ rates as excellent.
Most beach hats have UPF coverage, but most bucket hats, or any other type of hat, don’t contain UPF fabric.
REVERSIBLE WIDE BRIM DENIM/CREAM BUCKET HAT WITH UPF 50+
This bucket hat has a wider brim, which offers more sun protection, AND contains UPF 50+ fabric. The denim is a nice touch since denim can easily pair with many outfits. The cream on the reverse is a nice contrast. Made of cotton.
2. REVERSIBLE WIDE BRIM BUCKET HAT WITH CUTE EMBROIDERY UPF 50+
This wide brim reversible bucket hat is super cute! I’m not a huge fan of embroidery, but this hat turned out to be one of my favorites. The design gives off the feel like you’re traveling to Mexico, or Palm Springs. The fabric contains UPF 50+ fabric.
3. BLACK BUCKET HAT WITH UPF 50+
This black bucket hat has a shorter brim and contains UPF 50+ fabric. This hat is one of my go-to’s since it goes with most everything and is casual and simple.
4. REVERSIBLE COTTON BYCKET HAT WITH UPF 50+ (BLACK + GREY)
This reversible wide brim bucket hat contains the UPF 50+ fabric and has a pretty contrast of black on one side and grey on the other. I plan to iron on a patch on the back to give it a little more personality.
5. CUTE SHINY LIGHT PINK RAIN HAT. *NO UPF 50+ INCLUDED. but STILL CUTE.
This shiny light pink bucket hat is actually a rain hat. It’s glossy, simple, and chic. The color says khaki online, but actually it is light pink in person. There’s a shiny black one, too, which I have my eye on.
6. BLACK FLOPPY HAT WITH TAN BOW IN COTTON, UPF 50+
This lightweight floppy cotton hat with UPF 50+ is elegant and chic. I could see myself wearing this to a brunch. The cute tan drawstring in the back is for tightening, just in case you need to ride in a convertible ;)
These 6 hats are easy to wear during the Winter and Fall months in Los Angeles and will offer you the sun protection that a beach hat does! Hope you enjoyed them!!!

A sneak peek of Tory Burch’s Resort Wear Line 2020 was also revealed for the first time.
Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski (of Fashion Police on E! network) and Elise Bronzo, head of member experience at Indagare, hosted a lovely event at the Tory Burch on Rodeo Drive rooftop to discuss style travel tips and Tory Burch’s Spring 2020 line. Brad Goreski also touched on Tory Burch’s key looks in her current Fall 2019 collection.
Ruffles, pantsuits, asymmetrical hems, and color blocking are all stunning are a few statements that describe Tory Burch’s current Fall 2019.
Sparkling water and champagne was served, as the discussion and sneak peek show began.

This is so easy!
Have you ever wondered what to do with old clothing that is too destroyed to donate or give away? I feel guilty about throwing these types of clothes away since they will most likely end up in landfill. Also, it can be another thing on your list of things-to-do i.e.: ordering bubble wrap or stuffing paper for filling your leather handbags and boots….
However, did you realize you can just cut up old clothing (that are too destroyed and stained to giveaway) and use THOSE instead? Old stained or torn clothes work perfectly to fill boots, purses, or any other item of clothing or accessory that needs its shape maintained while stored away in your closet.

8 of the themes seen on the New York Fashion Week 2020 runways included florals, striking blues, ….I searched high and low on Amazon for pieces that reflect these trends seen on the New York runway for Spring 2020. These are the best Amazon fashion finds for women that reflect these 8 trends! With New York Fashion Week Spring 2020 coming to a close, there were a few key themes seen across the runways. 8 of the themes include: playing with neon color, long skirts with one high slit paired with a tiny top, black and white contrast outfits, the striking color blue, all neutral outfits with straight-legged baggy pants, head-to-toe snakeskin, florals, and asymmetrical tops.
