EWG VERIFIED™ Beauty Brands Showcase Their Products at an After-Hours PopUp Event in Los Angeles!

EWG VERIFIED™ (Environmental Working Group) held an after-hours pop-up event in Venice, California on March 2nd, 2020. The pop-up showcased skincare, haircare, baby care, men’s products, bath and body products, hand sanitizers, and more.
The EWG VERIFIED™ mark placed on a product means that that product passed EWG VERIFIED’s™ strictest standards for health.
“EWG VERIFIED™ recognizes products that meet EWG's strictest standards for your health. This means none of EWG's chemicals of concern. This means full transparency. This means a mark you can trust. It means EWG approved.
Our ultimate goal is for all products on the market to be free from harmful chemicals, so that everyone's purchasing decisions can finally be stress free.”
EWG VERIFIED™ states that cosmetics sold in the United States can contain:
29 ingredients banned in Canadian cosmetics,
15 ingredients banned in European cosmetics,
55 ingredients not allowed in European hair dyes,
5 ingredients known to the State of California to cause cancer,
6 ingredients known to the State of California to be developmental toxins!
EWG VERIFIED™ products contain ZERO of those ingredients! You will know your product is EWG VERIFIED™ if it has has mark pictured on the takeaway bag posted below. (PLEASE excuse my terrible manicure! :) )
Revlon’s first product passed by EWG VERIFIED™’s standards is Photoready Prime Plus Perfecting + Smoothing Makeup + Skincare Primer. This product is a makeup/skincare primer containing hyaluronic acid, peptides, and vitamin B5. Check it out posted below.

A new South Korean skincare line Ginjo showcased its brand new brand at the EWG VERIFIED™ popup party. Ginjo’s star ingredients include Ginseng, Squalene and Hyaluronic Acid. Ginjo is also PETA approved. #KBeauty

It was a beautiful day in Venice for the EWG VERIFIED™ after-hours pop-up event. Champagne, skincare and product samples and one-on-one time with beauty brand representatives made this event mandatory to attend!
